Powerful foods packed with nutrients.

Every single person’s life on Earth is unique. We all work different jobs, lead vastly different lives, and live in different parts of the world. We have our own families, hobbies, schedules, and routines.

Even so, we all have a few common necessities — food, water, shelter, etc. Although most of us lead very busy lives, we all take time out of each day to eat.

Even so, I don’t think there is enough emphasis today on the health impacts of which foods we choose to put into our bodies. Food is not just one of life’s simple pleasures. …

Genius ideas to optimize your success.

Bill Gates is regarded as one of the most successful people in the world. He co-founded Microsoft, became a billionaire, and then moved on to doing philanthropy work for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

While there are some aspects of highly successful billionaires’ routines that many people would not want to (and quite frankly, should not) adopt, I do think there are a few key lessons to be learned from Bill Gates’ daily routine.

Some people might assume that a man with the kind of wealth Bill Gates has acquired (over $100 billion) would be spending his days kicking…

They just might do the same for you.

For about five years now, I have lived what I would call a very healthy lifestyle. I don’t love to use the word healthy, because I think it’s a very relative term. My perception of a healthy diet or lifestyle could be completely different than yours. Even so, it’s the best way I can think of to describe how I choose to live and eat.

So, I’m going to further explain what my healthy diet looks like. It consists of three full meals with snacks in between, and dessert every single night. …

No, it’s not 5 AM.

When I joined my middle school’s cross-country team in 8th grade, I was forced to wake up at 7 AM to get to summer practices on time. Unsurprisingly, this is when my hatred for exercising early in the morning began to develop.

During these morning practices, I always felt tired and half asleep. On top of that, my stomach hurt no matter what I ate. As a result, I didn’t look forward to my runs. I knew I had to get through them to experience the fun part — racing, but I also wished I didn’t feel this way.

Doing so has helped me save more and spend less.

There is no denying that everyone likes to make purchases. There is a happy feeling you get when you buy a fresh pair of shoes, a cute outfit, or a brand new laptop.

It is fun and exciting to buy material goods, but that excitement wears off eventually. Plus, there is a chance you might experience buyer’s remorse soon after you make a purchase.

I enjoy buying things just as much as anyone else. However, I have realized more and more over the years that I don’t need half of the stuff that I continue to buy.

When I initially…

I don’t love the word motivation. In all honesty, I think it is often used inaccurately as a direct indicator of someone’s potential efficiency and success. High motivation does not equal instant success.

I don’t see motivation as something that is set in stone. I see it as a feeling that ebbs and flows. You can’t be motivated to do everything on your to-do list 100 percent of the time. There are things you have to do that you won’t always want to do, like take out the trash, put gas in your car, and buy groceries.

It isn’t motivation…

Follow these 3 simple steps.

For the past six years, coffee has played a pretty integral role in my life. While I certainly don’t feel like I need to have it every single day, I do appreciate it.

From my freshman through my senior year of college, I drank one cup of coffee each morning. The beverage powered me through difficult engineering classes, grueling cross-country workouts, and daily life.

After I graduated, I bumped my coffee consumption up to two or three 10 oz. cups per day, which is how much I continue to drink daily.

My morning cup of coffee perks me up, gets…

Speed up recovery and boost your results.

I have been running for over ten years now. I got my start when I joined the middle school track team in seventh grade, and I continued to run competitively through my senior year of college.

Over the years, I became more knowledgable about running, as well as health and fitness in general. Experienced coaches taught me how to become a fitter athlete and runner, and they also showed me a number of key practices to help me recover faster, reap greater benefits from my workouts, and hit new personal bests.

Just to give an example, my 5k personal best…

You can start building your wealth today.

Until I entered high school, I never really thought about life without it. Then, as I approached my senior year, discussions about college and life after high school in general became more and more prominent.

My classmates and I were told by our teachers that the real world was tough, but that the education we had received would prepare us for what was to come. While I do believe that my education has helped me navigate life after graduation, there are some incredibly important topics that I feel, looking back, weren’t touched on enough.

One of them, which wasn’t really…

My top strategies to feel good every day.

When I was in high school, I woke up feeling tired each morning. I never wanted to leave my warm, comfortable bed, and I was always in a rush to get to school.

However, you wouldn’t know it if you looked at my morning routine today. I often get up between 5 and 6 in the morning to start writing, and I actually feel good and energized. After I get a fresh cup of coffee coursing through my veins, there is really no stopping me.

So, what changed? How did I transition from that high school teenager who despised mornings…
