Powerful foods packed with nutrients.

Every single person’s life on Earth is unique. We all work different jobs, lead vastly different lives, and live in different parts of the world. We have our own families, hobbies, schedules, and routines.

Even so, we all have a few common necessities — food, water, shelter, etc. Although most of us lead very busy lives, we all take time out of each day to eat.

Even so, I don’t think there is enough emphasis today on the health impacts of which foods we choose to put into our bodies. Food is not just one of life’s simple pleasures. …

Genius ideas to optimize your success.

Bill Gates is regarded as one of the most successful people in the world. He co-founded Microsoft, became a billionaire, and then moved on to doing philanthropy work for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

While there are some aspects of highly successful billionaires’ routines that many people would not want to (and quite frankly, should not) adopt, I do think there are a few key lessons to be learned from Bill Gates’ daily routine.

Some people might assume that a man with the kind of wealth Bill Gates has acquired (over $100 billion) would be spending his days kicking…

They just might do the same for you.

For about five years now, I have lived what I would call a very healthy lifestyle. I don’t love to use the word healthy, because I think it’s a very relative term. My perception of a healthy diet or lifestyle could be completely different than yours. Even so, it’s the best way I can think of to describe how I choose to live and eat.

So, I’m going to further explain what my healthy diet looks like. It consists of three full meals with snacks in between, and dessert every single night. …

No, it’s not 5 AM.

When I joined my middle school’s cross-country team in 8th grade, I was forced to wake up at 7 AM to get to summer practices on time. Unsurprisingly, this is when my hatred for exercising early in the morning began to develop.

During these morning practices, I always felt tired and half asleep. On top of that, my stomach hurt no matter what I ate. As a result, I didn’t look forward to my runs. I knew I had to get through them to experience the fun part — racing, but I also wished I didn’t feel this way.

When…

Foods to keep you fit, fueled, and focused.

I have been vegan for almost five years now. I will admit that transitioning away from a lot of added sugar and processed food was difficult at first, but it did get easier and easier with time. Now, I am able to eat a healthy, plant based diet pretty effortlessly.

Not only do I truly enjoy the natural ingredients that I consume, but I have fallen in love with the process of cooking delicious, nutrient dense meals on a budget.

As a result of switching to a much healthier diet about five years ago, I have gained energy, happiness, self…

If I had a dollar for every time I heard someone say that snacking is bad for you…well let’s just say I would have accumulated a pretty nice sum of money by now.

Let me be clear here. I’m not saying that everyone has to snack between meals, or that those who don’t snack are wrong. I simply mean that snacking is often labeled as an unhealthy habit, and I don’t think that’s fair.

In fact, I function optimally when I eat smaller meals with snacks throughout the day. …

It’s no secret that working from home has become a lot more common in the last couple of years. While some people absolutely love it, others wish they could be back at the office.

I have been an iPhone user for at least eight years (probably closer to ten). I also have a deep interest in technology, a background in computer engineering, and an overall fascination with each new release of Apple products. Let me be extremely clear here — I love Apple products.

With all that being said, I am not one to upgrade to a new iPhone with each annual release. …

The evening hours can make or break your workday.

More often than not, discussions about efficiency and productivity tend to focus on morning routine optimization. And it makes sense. I mean, who doesn’t want to start their day off on a high note?

While I do acknowledge that the first few hours of each morning are some of my most productive, I also know that part of my early morning success can be attributed to my evening routine.

If you struggle to stay motivated and productive throughout the morning, I urge you to pay closer attention to your evening routine. …
